RIM has announced an official BlackBerry 10 event for January 30th.
The company will launch the long-delayed mobile operating system on that day, says CEO Thorsten Heins, with the launch being a global one.
Heins will introduce the OS and finally announce release dates for their new hardware, as well.

if BB10 cannot show some good productivity features, i am sure RIM is gonna die. this is probably last opportunity for RIM since other OSs are proved to be (excellent) toys with little productivity.

I think RIM is already going to inevitably die......this seems to be a last ditch effort.

No one really wants their stuff.
oh well, i don't think so. BB still has some features liked by many people; this is why BB still sells to the corporates. with BB10, if they can show business productivity, they may be winner. iOS/android/winRT devices are still toys since they don't even have a good office app.
