I am backing up Monsters, Inc. and I am not interested in the Full screen version, just the widescreen as that is all we ever watch. If I want to increase the widescreen quality I can just make the full screen a still picture and deselect audio? This will make the option selectable in the menu but it will kick back out when it sees there's just a picture there, right?
Thanks for the verification. I just put the FS version down to Still Picture, removed the Audio from that too and reduced the extras to as low as they would go and it bumped the WS movie up to 81%.
with the new shrink 3.2, you can now just substitute a still image for the full screen version and anything else you don't want to keep.
This way you can still have a fully functional menu with your disc, much in the way recode works.
Before, re-authoring destroyed your menu, now by editing in your opening screen after analyzing your video you can take out/and or compress seperately and still have a working menu.
Way to go BigO. Shrink sort of changed the abilities with the 3.2 as compared to the 3.1. Different techniques and some different controls between the 2.
