I would recommend 'the box ' users to go back to the previous firmware as the new version has a lot of glitches still to be ironed out !

Your problem was you also used the info button, no need for that just menu and then 1570 on RC, or other alternate as Karl said. To upgrade back to 4.54 you need to load 4.52 first. 4.54 only has added tps for Cork, the changelog for 4.53 will suffice for improvements.
Or as I hadnt seen Main there you may take up his option :)

I think with some of the images, just pressing menu 1570 doesnt work for 4.54.
Yes it does if you download and flash, but if you get one from UK and plug it in, menu sys info= 4.54 do a scan all works ok but menu 1570 doesnt and menu plock and 2004 doesnt work....I swear!!

it does!...if you download and flash, but some of the boxes form the uk that hab=ve it preloaded dont work. rather 1570 doesnt so a problem turning on the emu.
By all accounts it seems to be a bit buggy anyway....

Aha a reunion party LOL :) Main TBH no great shakes with the latest updates and as said they seem beta at best so its up to all to decide.

The pre-flashed versions were probably flashed incorrectly.

i find the V4.50 is the most stable and reliable firmware for the Irish market i have no problems with it at all so i would say stick to the first one as we all know it works proper
