No there is no 2.01 other than for samsung. Forza 4 is in testing and booting fine with new burning FW
On a side note: the lite has more than one drive revision. You want B but some are Y. Not sure if we're playing guessing games on which one we get. Hopefully there will be more supported drives. 4 is not enough in my opinion, but then again Teamx has to support them.

Some other forum had members saying the A had 2009 manufacture dates and B had 2010+ manufacture dates. I don't know how accurate that is but I went to my local Microcenter that had the vanilla Lite on IHAS124-04 B and it had a manufacture date of July 11.

The A and B revisions are both Mediatek, but different chipsets. Y is the one that's NEC.
A = MT1879LE chipset (MediaTek)
B = MT1839LN chipset (MediaTek) <---- This is what you need!
Y = MC-10045 chipset (NEC)
I think it was just a typo when he said "A is NEC chipset=bad" because he said this a couple of minutes earlier: -
[2011-10-17 08:40PM UTC] #c4e <c4eva> A or B = MTK chipset
I think he meant to write "Y is NEC chipset=bad" in that second post, because he also said this: -
[2011-10-17 08:21PM UTC] #c4e <c4eva> havent tested A models
And if A models were NEC, then he'd have no need to test them because it wouldn't work.
So B = good, A = untested, Y = definitely no good.

I suspect the A versions will work as well. Could be wrong. They are cross flashable with the b firmware. When the firmware gets released I will know for sure. I have several of both models.
Edit = Didn't mean to mislead anyone. I am talking about Asus and Typed A

I don't see how anyone could verify any more then what c4eva has said at this point until the firmware is out. If you want to purchase early I would say contact your source to verify it is b model. Or buy from someone that shows a close up of the bottom of the drive to know what you are getting.

A guy on Xbox-Scene posted the exact same link (post #415 in the main thread about this) and said he bought one in January and it was a B model, so it should be OK, but don't blame me if they send you a different model, lol!

I have been checking some of my drives with the flash utility program and Asus DRW-24B3ST/BLK/G/AS can be flashed to 524B. I still have some asus and hp oem drives that I suspect can be flashed to b version. As (if) I find which ones can I will post them.
Edit = HP 1270 can become 624B
Edit = Asus DRW-24B1ST can become 324B

Yeah... By all means. I will be running one of my liteon branded drives as well.
Just doing some testing on drives I have here in storage room. Listing my findings for anyone interested. I see no reason to pull (for instance) a nice hp 1270 and run out and purchase a x24b when the hp is really a 624b to start with. There are also some sony and teak drives that are really liteon drives. So I just say if anyone has one of those 4 oem branded drives, find out what it really is first before replacing it.
