I have a question for you guys, if I go and buy tomorrow a brand new PS3 it's going to be on 3.61 right? So is there a way I can play games from the internal hdd? With like naima's hybrid cfw or something? Basically what I'm asking is will I be able to play backups from the internal hdd somehow?

I was in the same boat as you, heres what you need to do. Call around to local gamestop stores, or search around on the ol internet and find a 120GB PS3 Slim, make sure its not a refurb or previously opened or anything like that. Some places still have them laying around since they cant drop the prices on them, only folks like us are going to pay the exact same price for a 120GB vs the 160GB versions. When I fired mine up it had 3.3x (not exactly sure but much lower than needed), jailbreaking is insanely simple and then your good to go.
