hey guys i am having a bit of trouble connecting ps3 phat to my laptop through ethernet cable... i am following the guide on here

i still get an error... (i made a video on it figured it would be a better way of showing u guys whats happening)

Thats strange I just decided to give this a test and I got to work just fine (speed really isn't that much faster on my laptop lol) but it works. A few things I did different from you is that I used blackbox ftp (which i find is the most reliable) and I used winscp instead of filezilla (I think filezilla is sh*t).

It was working for me before just not anymore :/. I guess id try it after this transfer (i get 350kbps on wireless) and 5mbps with the direct cable method but its a pain to get it work... (idk the cable method is trial and error foe me i guess :/. Anyways thanks for ur help :D .id give your method a shot too

omg it worked with ur method!!! thanks a lot bigo :D.... really really helpful man. i tried filezilla with black box but it was copying.. tried blackbox with winscp presto!! got it running :D

Glad that I could help, for some reason filezilla is just to iffy for me. winscp gets it done everytime.
