ok so ive had my ps3 for a couple of months but NEVER used it (its still in the box and have 0 games) since i play 360 (modded) most of the time. ive been doing my research on jail breaking it to play backups that i have on my pc but im stuck on one thing and as much as i googled and searched, i couldnt find it. Im following this guide to install the cfw but im stuck on how exactly to load and play the games. again i have NEVER used a ps3 so i dont know my way around it. help will be appreciated and if im missing something it would be grat to find out what lol

How can you clam they are backups when it is clear you have downloaded these games.

didn't catch that sorry
wouldn't have posted if i knew you were stealing
only back up games you own or you are breaking the rules and the basic idea of why this was made possible

for me my kids love the games but i wont let them touch a $70 disk
so this keeps the disks safe but lets them switch games
help to keep it legit or at least try :-)

Well he could have them backed up on his pc and own the games but then we also have:

tbh, I think sony deserve that pirates pirate from them now. They are so power hungry that they have alienated so many customers. Graf only wanted to bring back linux, no piracy involved there at all, yet they are trying to sue him.

Killerbug posted on ps3hax, that ibm may have persuaded sony to removed otheros because companies were buying cheaper ps3 consoles to build supercomputers rather than buying ibm's much more expensive equipment.
Then sony claimed it was cutting costs, so removing the hardware to run otheros on slims. But but here we have Graf and fail0verflow proving them wrong by bringing linux back onto all consoles including slims.

Perhaps that's why they wanted to shut Graf up, he's making sony look bad.
