Yeah...not sure if they are actually siezing consoles, or if they have just been given the ability to in certain cases tho...I guess they didn't do anything about OtherOS removal, so they must already be of the opinion that it is OK to steal from PS3 owners.

Sure but it's still not a good excuse. Be mad at a company, that's fine but to insinuate that god is punishing the people of Japan because of Sony even in jest is still low.

I don't care for this post either.
Lets calm down for a minute though and think about it. The post does not put me in mind of killerbugs posts here (mostly helpful and respectful)at all.
He could have been drinking instead of thinking. Or anything else for that matter. We have all been there at some time or another. Said or done something that is regretful later when thought about. We all know s**t happens and don't know what was going on with him here.

Do I really need to use [sarcasm][/sarcasm] every time I post something? I'm an atheist for starters, and the worst damage was 400 miles from Tokyo (where most sony buildings are). I do not wish harm on the Japanese...at least not on the vast majority of them.

I would say the worst damage are the 300+ dead and 700+ missing people, those 900 were from nowhere near Tokyo.
Also you shouldn't wish harm on ANYONE from Japan, its only a games console, no need to think ill of people at such times :(

donate to local red cross hahaha
what have they done for me lately
everytime there is a catastrophe we are supposed to give them all money
that is what you pay taxes for and the govenment is for
let people go hungry and live in poverty in their own country
edited by ddp
try helping your own country get on its feet before throwing money away overseas
they live on the worlds biggest fault line they know it is going to happen its just a matter of when
they choose to live there
let them deal with their choices
i live in B.C Canada
i choose not to live in victoria or along the west coast because it is also a disaster waiting to happen
will i help them because they choose to live there NO
if you dont want to be hit by a tsunami then live inland where it can't happen
problem solved

Even IF you were being sarcastic or joking its still in VERY bad taste.I can't believe your defending what you wrote.Just stop!I don't understand? What are you trying to say that just because your an atheist, what you wrote is okay?Just because the epicenter of the damage is far away from Tokyo makes it okay? Theres something wrong with you!
"I don't wish harm on the Japanese...at least non of the vast majority of them?" WTF?!
Seriously!?Thats like saying that its okay for the Nazis to kill the jews because they are Jewish. Like marcusita wrote, ITS A GAMES CONSOLE!

Whoa! You win the most ignorant and selfish post. You know that your on the ring of fire right? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific_Ring_of_Fire What happened in Japan can happen to BC.You may not get hit by a Tsunami but a big ass earthquake can still hit you. and if it does i am 8 hours from the ocean so no tsunami here
and the earthquake ya not so worried so far inland and there are no big buildings to fall or shake
i am sure my townhouse built on soft clay mud will not fall to it's knees
and if it did hit i wouldnt be counting on money from other places i would expect my government to step in or what good are they
just saying they choose to live there
they know the risks
i choose not to take them
and am not going to help people who want to live in the worlds most dangerous places
sure it might be nice there but who wants to wait for the next siren to go off
this is so far off topic it is awesome

Yes, I am saying that just because I don't believe in something, when I say that it has done something, then I am not serious. Saying god is to blame is really no different than blaming the Easter Bunny in my mind. Also, I know that Tokyo got a little bit of damage, but they were not exactly the "target" of the quake.
And yes, I wish harm on some members of every country...if 99% of the Yakuza killed eachother, I wouldn't mind...as long as no stray bullets hurt the innocent. Same goes for the bloods and the crypts, and it has nothing to do with their nationality. I know it isn't happy and fluffy and kid-approved, but in the real world there are evil people, and wishing them well just means wishing misery and death upon their future victims.

Noone can plan for natural disasters. Japan is an earthquake hotspot and even they cannot be ready to everything.
I kind of agree with Greenwii about these charities. Just look what happened in Pakistan; there was no communication with one another and they all sent the same things, they ended up with a surplus of tents and other items, money which could have been better spent on more food, medicine or anything else what was urgently needed.
In my opinion they should all merge, there should only be one with bases around the world. When it come to disaster like this you want to be efficient, not talking with other charities to find out what and how many items they are sending so you can plan accordingly. Its a waste of time.
Now even though Japan is one of the richest countries in the world, even they will not have enough set aside for such a large disaster. So donations are needed to get supplies there asap.
And you should have known Killerbug was being sarcastic, I;ve never see him post using so many expletives before, so I assumed it was joke.
