Hey All, I've been doing alot of reading online about the e3 flasher and progskeet, and was hoping someone here has some experience with either of these. I have a launch 60gb ps3 with kmeaw 3.55 on it and am very happy with it, however, with newer games coming out like uncharted 3, resistance 3, skyrim and such, I want to be able to play these without losing my jailbreak. I don't want to buy another ps3, and was looking at the above mentioned chips to see about dual booting my cfw and whatever the latest firmware is nowadays. I know it says you would need 2 separate hard drives for it to work, but has anyone done it? (especially on the 256mb NAND)?
If you have a phat ps3 you will need to solder some bits, the e3 guys tried but were only able to reduce the amount of soldering required. Do if you want dual boot you will need to solder.
Not sure about progskeet, I think that may be solderless but theres a lot of ribbon cables you'll need to tuck somewhere.
Wait 2 weeks, if demonhades really has a cfw which bypasses game keys then we can just install that to run new games, of course atm its just rumour and statements atm, none to confirm it works.
