any advice guys
get yourself an external harddisk, preferably format it to fat32. make a folder games in it, and copy some of your original backup games into that folder. you should have a folder games, and in the folder games the backups that are in its own folder. each game is in a folder called blesxxx or blusxxx. so copy the blesxxx folder in its totality into the games folder on your external hdd. then open op multiman, let it scan for new games. it will autodetect the games folder, and list all your games. then run/play the game. (you can also copy games to your internal hdd, multiman has a build in ftp program. you can ftp files onto the internal hdd. but this takes for ever compared to just connecting a external fat32 formatted hdd)
have fun
install bdemu.pkg otherwise backups will not work.
IF you are a pirate with downloaded isos then extract and copy contents into folder called GAMES. If legal backups insert disc in drive and backup, to backup to external hdd when asked to copy to internal select no, if external is connected it will ask if you want to copy to external, click yes. More than 1 usb storage device need to find out which one is which as they are identifies as usbhdd00x or something
remember external hss must be formatted under fat32.
Games folders do not ahve to be BLES-xxxx can be any name multiman will id the game using the files within the folders.
You might also consider getting a larger internal drive. A 750GB fits in just fine, and gives you faster loading times and better game support than an external. Most people don't have enough games to fill a 750GB drive anyway, so no need to spend more for a 1TB+ external. Unless your bluray drive is dead or you have more than 750GB of games (1TB drives fit in some PS3 models), internal is the way to go.
Really the only advantage that an external offers is the ability to plug it into a PC by USB...like if your PS3 bluray drive dies and you need to rip using a PC drive, or if you are a dirty worthless pirate. Even then, you can use the network...it is a little slower, but not by much (USB is faster, but you have to copy to USB, then copy back from USB...and you have to move the drive from the PC to the PS3 in the middle; with network, you just let it go and come back when it is done).
yep i installed bdemu.pkg. i never opened the multiman since the day i installed it once i tried then i got a message "here after multiman work as a software and accept their license' i really don't know what it says so i didnt accept it.so what u guys recommend do i accept it or not?

Appreciate ur great help
Just buy a new internal...60GB won't be enough space for the installed files from 500GB worth of games.
Depends how many games you have, I have a 500gb internal hdd, it could only store 15 games.
As for the agreement its just saying they they are not responsible if something goes wrong to be used legally with your already owned games, not for piracy etc etc. Nothing wrong with accepting the terms, unlike sony dean wont really hold you to them :P
Teh max internal hdd you can putin are 750gb hdds, but make sure they are 9.5mm in height. Some 750gb and all 1tb+ 2.5" hdds are 12mm in height, this makes them too think to fit in the ps3.

You can also use a 3.5" 1TB Sata HDD for internal storage...
