If I jailbreak PS3 will I ever come across a time where games wont work because they are some new format kind of like the xgd3 xbox 360 Games or will all games always work playing of external?

You will come across newer games wanting you to update your firmware to play them. Games from like July 2011 on don't work because they need the new keys (firmware). So the answer is yes from a firmware standpoint but since the PS3 hack doesn't work with Burned disc it would be a no if you think in the future they may change the bluray format or something. Strange question.
