CURRENT VERSION 0.37.08 (April 23rd, 2011)

http://www.jdobbs.net/freeware/BD-RBV03708.zip

- Corrected an issue in which resizing a source
from 480i/29.97 to 720p would result in an
TSMUXER "Non standard fps value" error during
the remuxing.
- Developed new routines so resizing of subtitle
streams is now done by BD-RB (rather than via
TSMUMXER). This corrects several possible
issues associated with resizing PGS streams.
- Corrected an issue in which opening a feature
in movie-only mode that contains IGS in the
main-movie stream could result in a "Selected
Source is not BD Format" error.
- Rebuilt the algorithms for checking subtitle
sources. This should eliminate the TSMUXER
error "Unexpected byte" and failure that could
sometimes occur while extracting audio/subs and
resizing to 720p.
- Corrected an issue in movie-only mode in which
"forced" subtitle (e.g. when foreign languages
are spoken) were not supported during resizing.
- Added support for subtitles when outputting to
ALTERNATE/DVD. Note that the conversion of
the graphics and integration into the output
stream adds approx 2 minutes to the overall job
for each subtitle kept, so it is recommended
you only select the subtitles you really want.
- Add a new hidden option "DVD_SUB_BACKGROUND".
It lets you select the type of background you'd
like for DVD output (see HIDDENOPTS.TXT).
- Add a new hidden option "DVD_SUB_COLOR". It lets
you select the subtitle foreground color you'd
like for DVD output (see HIDDENOPTS.TXT).
- Updated the included version of X264.EXE to the
latest release (r1937).
- Updated the included version of X264-64.EXE to
the latest release (r1936).
- Other minor corrections and cosmetic fixes.

I haven't posted in a while since I haven't been doing any bluray's for almost a year now. I ran Iron Man 2 through my system to see if everything is still running smoothly in the BDRebuilder newer version. Is everyone having pretty good luck with all the new releases coming out, or are there some that are still giving people issues? I will be posting some more since I need to catch up on this years BluRay movies.

I no longer burn to BD25 discs. I rip to 2 TB disks and play them from a Western Digital Media Player Plus, which has the capability to play so many different formats including Blu-Ray. It makes it so easy, and a cheap thrill. Now I don't need a Blu-Ray player, even though I have two, and I can take it any where I go, since it is so small.

I have been using the WDTV for a couple years now and I have been doing what you are doing without going through discs. I was just curious whether most people were using the 25 gig method or the 9 gig method. Hard drive space is not an issue for me so I can go either way. Discs are obsolete and we will be watching everything digitally in 10 years anyways.

I ran Limitless through bd-rb,got a beautiful picture but the sound is very low. I turned my tv full blast, could not hear very good. truned my surround sound on and turned it up full blast to hear the voice and the background sound blows you out of the house. I installed the new version 38.0.9
I have windows 7 32(I belive). Processor E5500, 6GB ddr3.

I thought I would update, I backed up another dics and it came out fine. So I tried the first one again, yep, it was good. Don't know what happend, but I'm happy.

I apologize to those of you looking for assistance from me with BD RB. What is interesting is that most of you if not all of you were able to find whatever problem you were experiencing on you own. That suggests to me that the only assistance you require is your own, trust yourselves. I'd hoped that all of you would in time take your experience and use it to help inexperienced users, especially since I will no longer be around to provide it. I've also closed my own forum DVD Hounds.com, eliminated the nick "Sophocles" and moved on to other things.

A lot of changes have affected my life of which many are quite personal. As a result I've redirected my interests to equally personal areas. I'm still a thoroughly devoted PC/AV technology geek, but now I'm applying those skills to my efforts as a retired musician, daring to play once again. So feel free to assume educator and mentors of this thread, and share some of the things that you've learned. You won't always be right but when each issue is resolved, you will also learn and to be better for it, regardless of who found the answer. HLG

I ran a little test on 2 separate computers today.

Bluray - XMen: First Class

AMD 4-core = 6 hours 43 minutes encoding - Temps 42/63c
AMD 6-core = 5 hours 1 minute encoding - Temps 19/34c

No overclocking and the CPU speeds were the exact same.

Probly that new protection. Dvdfab has an answer but don't know if it works. I checked the BMV to see if the audio was disabled. It was. Running BD_RB to se if it can get rid of the Cenia protection.

Checked the back up and everything works great. The speakers were unplugged.
