I have backed up some blurays; ripped with anydvd to image, then read a string that suggested imgburn to burn. So, ican mount the images and they play just find with bluray software, but the discs i burn will not read, player just keeps saying "load". I am curious to know if someone knows if there is a setting or configuation that i need to change? If it were dvds i was blowing through i have hundred more, but bd-r's are still on the expensive side, so thought i would ask those who have probably had more experience.
My DvD player Recorder will not read ISO either. Don`t know if they make one that will.
I`ve backed up my Blu-ray movies 25 Gig and 50Gig dual layer, full disc every thing, yes it expensive.
I got aiseesoft Blu-ray ripper for free today at giveawayoftheday. I just converted, the movie, SIGNAL, got it for $4.00, the main movie M2ts to Xvid a mp4. Now i`ll use nero vision to convert back to vob file formatt and burn to 4.7 dvd or 8.5 dual layer. Then it will play in my DvD player.
Just the movie no extras, 22.5 Gig compressed to 1.5 Gig. Just checked nero vision, on 4.7 very good Quality- 8.5 excellent Quality.
Someone may know software for free or another way to back up blu-ray`s.
The way i do it work`s for me Just takes alot time. Good Luck
Movies burn to 8.5, Play nice and looks really Good.
Sure, imgburn can create isos. I'm not sure devices will read the disc once you burned it. I havn't did that. I just use virtual drives to play isos. Why would you want to create and burn iso when you can create a bdmv folder and burn it and it play in about any drive?
You don't have to put in layer break. Imgburn will do it auto. Don't waste your time w/ createing an ISO. Rip the movie and if your using DL's then just burn it w/ imgburn. If using other media shrink it w/ megui and create BD disc w/ tsmuxer and then burn with ingburn.
Okay just so I'm clear. I have anydvd hd. So what I want to do is rip dvd video to hard disc option. Then burn the BDMV and certificate folders in the root of the directory of the disc I'm burning with imgburn. This will make the disc compatable with most all blu ray players correct?
Yes you will need that. When you ripped your movie it should have been ripped to a folder. Most time named the name of movie. Open that folder in ingburn. It will load everthing in that folder.
