i just bought a bluray burner so i can burn 1080p bluray movies for my ps3, it has not come in yet but i figured id get all this together so im ready to go when it arrives, anyways at the end of the tutorial it says problems may occur in the future or something like that, does this process still work with no problems? and i havnt looked for this but if someone can give me a link to a tutorial on how to rip and burn blurays that would be great but if not i will just look around, and one more thing, when i download a 1080p movie in .mkv format, is it really bluray? quality wise atlest?
thanks to everyone who helps or even takes the time to read this, have a great day

Q)anyways at the end of the tutorial it says problems may occur in the future or something like that
A)As of today Blu-Ray backup's does work on the PS3 weather it be BD25,9 or 5 & also AVCHD.

A)Yes most are the only thing that is missing is the black bars that's why the resolution is Ex 1080x 800.But you will need to encode the video source if you want to watch it on a standard Blu-Ray player or just convert it to Mpeg2(TsMuxer) using PS3 for you viewing source.
thank you sooo much, all the mkv file i burn that are 1080p are like 10gb so how do i put 2 together exactly, because when i select join in tsmuxed one of the movies doesnt show up in the track list, also when i try to add 1 particular mkv movie i get this message "some tracks not recognized. this tracks was ignored" any ideas with whats wrong?
and while trying to backup a bluray movie i have bdrb always has a error, something to do with tsmuxer for some reason, because i get a windows error saying something about tsmuxer not working properly and it is closeing and i dont even have tsmuxer running
another problem i ran into is when i convert to m2ts because my resolution is not a normal resolution so that ther will be no green bars on the video, the video works perfect but no audio when i play it on the ps3, but when i play it on my pc the audio is ther, whats wrong?
