how do you use divx with any video converter? thought the codec would come with it but didnt so installed the codec yet it is not showing up in the video codec drop down?

I think Any Video Converter uses only MEncoder and it's installed codecsfor encoding - at least that's what shows in Task Manager when Any Video Converter is running.

Is the DivX encoder free?
AnyVideoConverter comes with the Xvid encoder, which is basically the same thing, onlyu probably a little better. Most people just encode using Xvid instead, and any DivX capable device will play video encoded with Xvid.
