Ok this is a pretty weird issue i seem to be having. First off here is what my ps3 is doing thats odd to me. For some reason my ps3 will turn off and blink red sometimes when i boot it up or sometimes after i start a dvd/bluray movie. However whats odd is once it does it once or twice i can boot it up and itl do the system check for not being turned off correctly and then it will work fine. I can play games/movies for hours, once the system starts working it keeps working no amount of letting it heat or or anything will trigger the red lights and everything is perfect.
Its getting pretty annoying having to turn the system on let it blink and then turn off and then boot it up and let it check the system before my ps3 will work correctly. Ive read many times it could be a Harddrive issue so Ive tryed removing the HDD and putting it back in, i tryed booting the system with no harddrive then shutting down and putting it back in. Ive tryed reformatting the entire system that took 4-6 hours and no change it still wants to do this.
I dont have a diffrent harddrive to try and i dont think thats the problem but maybe im wrong? If it was some kinda heat problem wouldnt it kick off regardless of me restarting it? Ive played threw many games with this issue present, beat beyound 2 souls all the way threw with no issues. Once i reboot it 1 or 2 times it works. Its usaully only does it once then works correctly. Im trying to figure out what i should try, i really dont wanna mess with the gpu/gpu if thats not the issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
