Whats the best program for ripping dvd's is use dvd shrink version 2 and it has done a good job on most of my movies that i have backed up. is there anything that i can download that is better

Try clonedvd2 from elaberate bytes or dvdxcopy ,clones good for shrinking full dvds to 4.7gb discs while dvdxcopy is good for full dvd backup ,both of these you should use with another program called anydvd.
Just do a google search for these products www.google.com
