Can anyone please tell me what Im doing wrong as Im using memorex 4x dvd-r blank media with dvdx copy platium and it will not write to blank but I have used other blank brand and it worked... Thought memorex was a good brand..Im still new at this...

Have you used 2 different medias to back up the same project and 1 worked and one didn't? Is that what you're saying?

Hi,

Memorex buys from different manufacurers and slaps their name on it so you never know with certainty what you're going to get.

Could you run one of your discs through DVD Identifier and let us know the manufacturer ID?

I was using Maxwell DVD+RW but ran out so went to Memorex...The manufacturer ID is (CMC MAG. AFI ) Then Manufacturer name is ( CMC MAGNETICS CORP ).. My dvd burner is a INDIDVD TDK and will read all dvd media..
