Have you tried logging in to the 321studios.com website with your Licence ID + password to reactivate? your activations should be set at 10.if yiu are in the UK set your computers date format to US style.

jremke,
Go to www.dvdxcopy.com and login with Licence ID and password, when your account details come up click on [Details] to see how many activations you have left.If you are in the US there have been several threads regarding activating through the Canadian support office by telephone.I had to turn off my firewall and change time /date format on my comp to activate Xpress and Platinum last week on a new drive.
Good luck ispy

I went to the site and found out I have 75 activations left, but I still cannot register. i am running Platinum. Should I just dump the program and go elsewhere?

Yes.... do move on !! X Copy is such a rubbish piece of software [and always has been] ;c)

As mentioned DVD Shrink & Nero should have you on your way again (never hurts to have DVD Decrypter installed also).

P.S. DVD Shrink & DVD Decrypter are free (best price of all)

jremke,
One last try,go to http://www.321sales.co.uk/support.htm download Platinum v4.0.38 use your existing Licence ID + password to activate.Your password is the one you used to login to the site the other day to check your activations.Tell me what happens after you have installed the programme, when you launch it for the first time the activate screen comes up,fill in ID + password disable your firewall and connect to server. Is it still not activating? If not check out Shrink etc. ispy

Maybe you were using the password on your original disc before, rather than the one you use to Log in to the website? Anyway it really turned out ok,I,m glad I was able to sort it,just took a bit of time.
Cheers ispy

I have had very few problems at all with all of my Xcopy products. I admit they can be fussy, but I seem to get a result everytime? Am I the only person who does not have issues? I have never had problems activating my product online. I really like dvdxcopy & I think it is unfair to say that it is rubbish. I also use Nero, dvdshrink, alcohol120% & dvd decryptor but I really prefer to use xcopy whenever I can. I would still recommend it to anybody, even with all of the freeware available. No doubt this will provoke a few reactions from the anti-dvdxcopy lobby. I have found it is usually system/user issues with software problems. I usually curse something until I know how to use it properly!
