I'm trying to burn my first DVD.
This is what I used:
1. Smat Ripper 2.41
2. DVD2AVI
3. TMPGEnc 2.58.44

Here are the files that I end up with:

1.MonsterIncAC3T013_2ch448kbps44.1KHZ.wav /930MB
2. MonstersInc.mpg /4.145GB
3. vts_01.idx /479KB
4. vts_01_1.vob /1GB
5. vts_01_2.vob /1GB
6. vts_01_3.vob /1GB
7. vts_01_4.vob /1GB
8. vts_01_5.vob /274MB
9. vts_01.LST /1KB
10. vts_01.d2v /394KB
11. MonstersInc.d2v /382KB
12. vts_01_0.ifo /80KB

My question is which files do I burn to the DVD-R? And do I just drag and drop the files using Easy CD Creator or Windows Explorer?

Thabks for any help.

I just copied Monsters, Inc last night but i had to use IFOEdit to strip the Menus etc and even then had problems after burn to a Gen 4 Datasafe. In my case the disc was region 2 and the movie was contained in VTS_13_X so I copied.

VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VTS_13_0.IFO
VTS_13_0.BUP
VTS_13_1.VOB
VTS_13_2.VOB
VTS_13_3.VOB
VTS_13_4.VOB
VTS_13_5.VOB

Ofcourse you need to let IFOEdit process these files for you. Why are you using DVD2AVI? Cant you just strip the menus and end up with a DVD quality disc?

I believe you can create new backup files through IFOedit. If you go to Doom9's website you will find a whole slew of information. The movie that you ripped is too big for a DVD disc so you are going to go through the unfortunate process of spliiting IFO's etc. It's a process to say the least.
