where can i find a good mp3 encoder? well more on the lines of which one is free and still good to download from the software page?

I use, as do many on this forum, the LAME mp3 encoder http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio_software/audio_encoders/lame_mp3_encoder.cfm its not a stand alone encoder so you run it through another program

i use it alongside Audiograbber for ripping cd's http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio_software/audio_encoders/audiograbber.cfm
