Has anyone here, ever been caught copying rentals if so how much were you fined and how did they track you down. Sorry if this is against the rules

25K and 5 years per DVD. I'm due to be released sometime in 2508 if I get my good behavior time applied. Then it's off to Debtors Prison till I come up with 2.5 mil.

They cant actually, dvds you rent are DVD-ROM... Read Only Memeory so theres no way for them to tell wether or not the dvd has been copied.

Nope, it doesnt matter. When you decypt a dvd, all the computer does is read it (hence DVD Read Only Memory) It is impossible for anyone to track if it was decrypted.
BTW, if you are caught copying dvd's here, you are drawn and quartered, and your head put on a stake and put on the MPAA's Building in LA as a warning to others!

They only way they could catch you is if they raided your house, and they can only do that with a warrant due to the fourth amendmant which prohibits illegal search and seizure.

If you use 321 products,they put a 16 digit No.in an archive text file on your burn and it coudld be linked to your software registration? but its easy to get rid off.

Your dead right,but RF + 321rip still leaves the Txt file intact,what I do is make a shortcut to Temp folder on the Desktop,after ripping open the Temp folder,delete the archive txt file then burn.Very easy.

Somone told me should you copy a dvd from the video shop you do not get your free pop corn on your next visit.The fbi have had to stop hiding in the case of each dvd you rent due to the fear of being compressed on your computer.Should you decide to back up a dvd from the video shop no pop corn for you as you will be a naughty boy.

Here is a list of all the people I have been tracking that are copying crappy rental discs instead of spending a couple bucks for 1 original and backing it up.
