hey,
when you play a normal audio cd on your computer, the files are in .cda with a volume of 1kb. You only can play them if the cd is in your computer...:(. Is there a way to convert them to a normal .mp3/.wav format? With a convert program or something??

You can just download CDex here:

CDex
http://cdex.n3.net/

It is a great program for audio and can do a lot of things. If it doesn't work, feel free to post on the forum.

Trt downloading it from download.com. Here is the link:

CDex

If it didn't work before it probably won't work now but give it a try anyway. If it doesn't work, I'll find you a different program.

I'm having a little trouble understanding you. Are you saying that you made a shortcut of the CD on your computer or you copied the files onto your computer. If you copied them then you don't need the CD to listen to them. Also, if you copied them, what format were they in? Most probably AAC.

i made a shortcut, but if the cd isn't in the pc, i cant play them... they are in .cda (cd-audionummer)

if you open the program, you see the window with the contain of the cds in your computer, but I want to see a map on my pc...:p

sorry, my english isn't very well ;)

well first of all I would copy the files to your computer. After that you have to use a program to convert them. I can help you find a program but I need to know what format the files are in. You can find this out by right clicking on the file and clicking properties and you'll see something like AAC or MP3 or WMA or WAV or something like that.

Ok now I feel stupid. It was sort of obvious they were in CDA. So you want to convert these files from a .cda to .mp3 and then burn them to an audio cd, right?

I think OSS Audio Converter 2.2 Pro can handle it. You can download it here:

OSS Audio Converter 2.2 Pro
http://www.download.com/OSS-Audio-Converter-Pro/3000-2140-10187276.html?tag=lst-4-4

After you've converted the files you can burn them to a CD. If you need help finding a CD burning software or if this program doesn't work, feel free to post on the forum and I will help you find another program.
