at the place i get my comp parts from 333mhz ram is dearer than 400mhz ram is same brand(generic) same case latency.
is 333mhz ram better for dual channel than 400mhz or sumpin................. thanks.............

400Mhz should theoretically be faster. Hard to say why they were priced that way.

400mhz memory is now very popular and easier for dealers to get hold of at cheaper prices.This is probably why it is slightly cheaper with some dealers.

Not always the case Praetor depends on the suppliers prices.If i go to pc world and purchase memory if will cost nearly double the price of my regular supplier i use for computer parts.

Naturally you cant compare between different suppliers as that would be a meaningless comparison :P Within the same store, better memory will cost more (unless they want start bleeding out products or to limit sales because theyve run out or something)

Yeh its just some pc shops you go in to in the UK you can end up paying well over the odds.Where others you will pay alot less.

I guess if you bought your 333 RAM in at £40 6 months ago and you still have some in stock, you still want to off load it at the same profit margin as the 400mhz which you bought in last week for less, because you sell so many.

The one that confuses me is when a 400g jar of coffee on special offer costs more per 100g that a 200g jar at the normal price.
