I have made an ISO file of this DVD, but when i compared it with the original, there were numerous differences. There were no differences or read error when the ISO was being made.

Here are a sample of the differences found:
LBA=113h Byte=0 ISO=0h Disc=44h
LBA=113h Byte=1 ISO=0h Disc=56h
LBA=113h Byte=2 ISO=0h Disc=44h
LBA=113h Byte=3 ISO=0h Disc=56h
LBA=113h Byte=4 ISO=0h Disc=49h
LBA=113h Byte=5 ISO=0h Disc=44h
LBA=113h Byte=6 ISO=0h Disc=45h
and so on....

By the way, I have used other programs to make a copy of this disc and none seemed to work. The file on the disc is not corrupted because it plays fine on my PC. The only problem is that i cant copy 2 .VOB file from it to my HD. A read error saying that the disc is dirty or scratched always appear. All of the program i used say the same thing, although the movie plays just fine.
DVDInofPro was the closes thing there is that made a complete copy of it. The only problem is that the copy is different from the orginal. Please help if u can.

Are you quite sure you used DVD Info Pro to copy a disc? The reason I ask is because the only DVD Info Pro I'm aware of simply ID's media, does surface scans and erases RW's, no burning.

If you're getting repeated read errors with various software and the ISO is different than the original I'd surmise that, if the original is clean and scratch free, it has some corrupt data on it from the factory.

Is this the only disc that gives you problems?

What exact error are you getting? A CRC?

the data is not corrupted. but the disk is pretty scratched. the movie played fine on the PC but not on my DVD player (which is pretty picky on what it reads). I want to copy it to my HD so i could configure it for my dvd player.

All other progams dosent seem to work. all comes with read error (cycle reduncy something or not).

If u have any suggestion, please post.

If the disc is scratched up you have two choices - you can get a scratch removal kit or see if you can get DVD X Rescue which is good at extracting data from scratched DVDs. In either case nothing's guaranteed.

Recovery software is rather specialized and as such there aren't any free ones that I'm aware of. It'd be cheaper to pick up a $20 disc repair kit :)

Wow. I'm a bit surprised it worked with that many errors but hey, as long as it plays :)
