I have recently installed TIVO to record our favorite TV shows. I will be leaving for Iraq soon and thought it would be nice to get some of that on a DVD -R to have sent over to me. Not having enough money to purchaes the new pioneer system w/ dvd -r, tivo all in one are there any alternatives. I thought that I could some how hook up my external HD to the Tivo box, record to that hard drive and with some software be able to burn it to my DVD burner on my PC. Has anyone done this or know how I could do it?
