Hey all,
When I play my burnt DVD back it pauses then plays then pauses for ever and some times pauses so long it stops by itself. I am useing Ritek G04 4x DVD-R media. My burner is a LITEON 8x DVD+-R. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Normally I would say "classic poor media problems"..and perhaps it still is, even though you are using Ritek media. In the UK, where I am based, there is a lot of low grade Ritek hitting the market, and hence the problems start to appear.

I would, personally, start by checking your burnt media for read errors. DVDinfo pro has a free version that can perform this task.

You could try reducing the burn speed a little, that may cure the problem.

It may even be a case that your standalone DVd player simply is not compatible with this particular brand of media.

It could also be the Way you created the Files that you burned to DVD...But not knowing how you created this DVD I can"t comment any Further....
