first of all dvd xpress copy works when i rip just a movie like the (the rundown). i'm having trouble burning a rip of disc one from the first season of smallville. every program stops burning at about 21%. i've figured out that around when the first vob file ends. it gets hung up when stating the second vob file. its not the rip because i've tried tmpge, dvdxpress copy, dvd shirnk, dvd santa, and dvd decrypter. any help is much Appreciated, thanks. oh yeah trying to put it on 1 dvdr.

it must be a minute flaw in the disc. I've had ones like that before. take it back if you can and change it for a new one.

Some discs get out of the factory containing small bits of corrupt data on them. This isn't normally a problem since most set-top DVD players are built to ignore them but it becomes a problem when you try to extract the daat when ripping it :)
