Backup from NAS to DVD-R

Hi All

I have successfully connected a DVD Writer to the NAS (Iomega 300M) as the drive shows up, however when I run a backup everything appears normal until the end when it fails. Do you know what possible reasons there would be to cause this to occur?

I am using Nero Burning ROM, version 5.5, could this be the problem, if it is what other burning software do people recommend?

Thanks for peoples help in advance, any suggestions are appreciated.
