You wouldn't be able to mess with the multipilers anyway, they're locked. In theory all you have to do is raise the Fsb to 200 (400) as that is basically the only difference between the xp2500 and the xp3200.
XP2500=333Mhz, XP3200=400Mhz.
Depends what memory you got as to what other things you may have to adjust.
If you want to have a go, one of us can talk you through it.

No conny119,
you can change your FSB, but the XP2500+ multiplier is fixed at 11x, you can't change that.
166 x 11 is ~1833MHz.
Don't 'user define' your FSB too much or you will throw your AGP and PCI badly out of spec.
The 'factory' O/C of 200 FSB runs the CPU at 200 x 11 = XP3200+ and will joyfully use the proper dividers for AGP/PCI :-)
Very popular O/C, easy as fallin' off a log...
But dunno if your Abit N7 is FSB200(400) capable?
Or did you mean Abit AN7, LoL, (It is).
Athlon must also run PC3200 @ 200(400 DDR) FSB.
