Hi..i just recently got a dvd burner all is well but my discs say 4.7 GB but nero puts a red dashed line on 4.5 GB and won't let me burn over that amount.

I dont understand why they are limiting me?

This has been addressed many times, so I will not go into detail. To put it simply, the TRUE size of a DVD-5 blank disc is 4.5Gig, not the 4.7Gig indicated by the Media MFG.
