Hi
My computer has 3 hard disks (fat32), when I decided to work with videos, a face the trouble of fat32 big files(4gb limit). So now I want to convert one of the hard disks to ntfs. The questions is: can I work at the same time with 1hard disk with ntfs and the 2 others fat32? The other computer in the network(fat32) has to be changed to ntfs?
Sincerely thanks. sidi

Hey
What Operating System do you have ?
If you have Windows 2000/XP, you can format the HDD, but if ur running 98/ME you cannot.
To Covert it to NTFS, click Start -> Run -> and type CMD and press enter.
now type CONVERT X: /fs:ntfs
X being the drive you want to convert, so if you want to convert C: change X: to C:

Hey
Your NTFS drive will be read-able through the network on the WinME Computer.

Yes it is true sidi.
I have a network here, with Nix, XP, 2000 and 98 boxes, and they can all read each other's HDDs.
Being Fat32 and NTFS drives..
