Hello Everyone,

A couple of months ago I built my first personal system based on all the helpful info I got from this forum. I now need to build three budget pcs for business use and had a few question.

We own a few automotive businesses that we are installing new software in. The software company gave us a quote for their hardware that was pretty outrageous. For a P4-2.8Ghz, w/256MB RAM & a 40Gb HD, and 1 CDRW Drive they quoted about $1500...per machine!...pretty funny huh?!?!?

Needless to say I said I would build these myself. I was thinking of sticking pretty close to their specs to be consistent (but will add more RAM). I was going to get the P4 2.8 Prescott with a ASUS "P4P800-VM" (I wanted one with a built in video to save cost since we don't need anything graphic intensive).

I guess my questions are:

1. Is this a good motherboard for this CPU?

2. What is a good budget RAM, HD, and CDRW to purchase for business use (low graphic intensive)?

3. Due to the location of the machines, it will get very dirty (automotive) with lots of dust blowing around. Can anyone recommend a good sturdy case that will help reduce this? I would rather spend a little more on the case to get something that is durable and clean.
