Hi, Looking for some input

I have just installed Nero6
When I try to watch a DVD thru Showtime and I keep getting the error message

"Nero Showtime was unable to start playing the selected video
Please close all other applications that are playing back video or are in pause mode and try again"

Only problem is that I do not have any other programs running (that I know of anyway)

Can anyone provide any info to solve this problem?
Im running XP Professional Service PAck 2

Ahhh, SP2 (lucky you).
Showtime won't playback DVDs for me - they want me to purchase their codec, for $19 or whatever...
But, did yours used to work?
Your error-message is slightly different.
Try downloading the Nero update (63125), reboot, and install it on a fresh-startup.
With the tiny FreeDVD package (143KB) I just watch DVDs with WMP lately, anyway :-)

I downloaded the Nero update pack. This seems to have fixed the problem with Showtime
