i hava a toshiba sdr-5112 (maddog) i rip movies with decrypter and use instant copy to compress onto prodisk 4x media it comes out great in about an hour. but when i try to make copies of the master with ic8 with ritek 4x media i get skips in it or they just don't play at all. any suggestions.

This is the third post I've answered this morning with folks having trouble with a Toshiba SDR-5112.

If the ProDisc work then stick with them. Riteks aren't infallible and there're some drives that simply don't like them. I'd suggest burning your remaining Riteks at 2X and see if that makes a difference :)
