NeroVision Express - Incorrect length of Clips

I am trying to burn multiple 30 minute mpg2 clips.

I have tried myDVD and it gives me a "cannot make a thumbnail" error.

So, I tried NeroVision and it imports all the clips just fine, but each clip gets reported as 34 Hours - ranther than 34 minutes (approx).

I can open the files in generic viewers (Elecard for example), and all is fine - proper clip length.

Any ideas would be apprecitaed - my suspision is the mpg2 file not being compliant in some form or antoher.

Is there any program that will look at and modify the mpg2 file to fix it for DVD ready (I think this is called recoding?). I tried to recode using nero and it bombed.
