I've backed up a lot of my dvds, but I can't seem to backup Bad Boys 2 or The Runaway Jury. Anyone had this experience with these or other dvds?

i had no problems. did you try ripping them with DVD Decrypter first?

I had no problems with Bad Boys II. I don't have Runaway Jury.

Question: Are they bona fide American versions, or Asian imports? I have a 15% failure rate with some Asian imports I inadvertently purchased.

they're ones I got from walmart...I used dvdshrink to rip/burn

What kind of error are you receiving?

The best bet is to follow Sly's advice and rip them in file mode using Decryptor. I've used this method to solve many problems that weren't media related. Every now and then, Shrink just has a little trouble. It's a great little program, but a touch moody occasionally.

I think all software is inherently evil, sometimes has a mind of its own, and just likes to mess with us. My sources tell me that programmers have a nasty scheme to take over the world, so they divert us with these distractions...
