Okay, I have a song in mp3 format and its in 56kbps, which is pretty much sh*tty quality. Is there a way that I can increase the kbps and make it sound like the same quality of the source it was ripped from (like from a CD)? Or is it impossible?

No, its quality will remain @ 56kbs no matter what you do to it.
