I have two VOB files that I need to merge. I bought a DVD that contains 2 files. The first is the first part of the movie and the second piece is the rest of the movie. It looks as if the creator "cut" a file in half, don't know why. But i can't view this on my DVD player, my PS2 can see it. I want to convert the two pieces into something my DVD player can use. I assume that I need to merge the two into one and then convert it to something that will work.

I have four different DVD players and none of them can see the files.

Any clues?

You might try d/ling DVD Shrink and then try to use shrink's "file mode" to encode the vobs to an iso image on a hard drive. however, dvds typically have many VOB files along with other files (ifo, etc.) so this is just a guess. if you get the iso image you can then burn it to a dvd using DVD Decrypter. good luck.
