I recently tried to update my DVD+/-RW's firmware and had a major problem, causing me to reformat my hard drive and for some reason, i cannot load windows with it connected.
Please, I really need your help so i will give you as much information as possible.

That's a tough situation boss. A bad flash is definitely bad news. If you can, you might plug it into another PC, do a Hail Mary and hope it boots. If it does then you have a chance to try a reflash.
