I am running Windows XP and recnetnly purchased a NEC ND3500 DVD-Rewriter. I installed this drive and i can access it via My Computer, however whenever I attempt to access this drive using a program such as Ner, DVD Shrink, etc my system either restarts, enters hibernation mode, etc. I have lloked arounfd the internet and have found people who are having similar problems, however I cannot find a solution. Any Ideas?
