Hi all,, I have a dynex dvd burner and a pioneer105 dvd burner on xp platform. I have been burning games from iso and cue/bin image files for about 3 years for PS2 & Xbox.
Recently i noticed Nero is only recognizing dao as writing method(greyed out), although my burner supports dao, tao, dao96 and these have been accessible in the past. I have used nero 5 previously
and always had the option to select writing method.I switched to nero6 and things were still cool until recently. Then i upgraded to the newest nero6 to see if this would restore my options...no luck
I have an iso of nba live 2k5 ps2...burns okay...won't load in ps2 slidecard swap magic. In the past when this has happened, I would switch to TAO as my writing method and it would work fine. Now that i don't have these options ..i'm stuck. Is this a firmware or a aspi layer issue? Or is this a software issue? I have also installed record now and the same thing, only dao by default. Any ideas or suggestion appreciated
