Hi I just bought my first dual layer burner, the Liteon I posted above. I have had a toshiba for a year and a half and it gave me no problems at all. I put this one in yesterday and so far ive noticed some strange things. When i try to use dvd shrink I either get a crc error everytime or i get an unkown error. ALso ive noticed some weird burning patterns on the discs after burning them(not all just sometimes). It almost looks like a fan shape then after it fans out, it looks normal. I also get a very high pitched noise when burning sometimes. I didnt have any of those problems before, but now its like its all screwed up. Woudl setting it to the master drive make any difference, i think its a slave to my cdr. TIA
