Adding picture to DVD movie...

If i backup a DVD movie to DVD-R, rip out the extras and that. I want to add a picture to the beginning to kinda customize it. Just a still picure/image. How do i add that? what software do i need? thanks

I have wanted the same thing but I want to add the THX intro to the begininng because I like to use it for retail demo material. It can work if your picture is actually a vob file. Even if it is small you should be able to create ifo's using ifoedit and make it the first part of the movie.
