dvd playback skipping freezeing

firstly when it said "standalone" i take it to be the dvd player plugged in to the tv nothing to do with computer ,if so , when i try to play back a dvd on my stand alone dvd player i get freezes every frame all the way through but when i play the file on the computer it plays perfect i use avitodvd converter then nero only seems to do it on perfect copys of my original even the back up plays perfect till i burn it on to disk?can anyone point me to a clue?thanks

have you tried another brand of media?
have you tried burning at a slower speed?

ive tryed difrrent media such as datasafe and ridisk which use ritek dye its only the good quilty movies that skip on playback no issues with cam made

im not shore what other programs are availible somthing that doesnt take to long at min i use winavi and Nero o and dycriptor if needed and DVD Shrink if needed for there pesific jobs
