Quote: The reason for this is because of the dynamic radio stations. - Eg. I've been in a car when it started raining and the radio warned of a storm coming in. The content of the stations are "unlocked" as you progress further in the game. But if you're just after the music, go with the two letter file names (at 10000 interleave). Me, I'm after the ads >:-D
BTW - 100000 interleave will still give you beeps and studders and will only play up until the first segment finishes. Trying to find a way to rip the entire file.. anyone?
I jsut wnat to edit music not ads, what do I do?

What files were you able to see with this mongoose program? Do you think they could be of any use?

When I was using Dragon UnPACKer 5, I was running version 5.0.0 RC4. To open the .Pak file I had my San Andreas disk inserted, then from Dragon UnPACKer's File menu I chose Open->Selected my CD rom drive->Audio->Streams->MR.Pak. After doing show I get a list of files in the directory, all the files types are listed as Sound(Riff/Wave). The names of the files are random characters. Then on the left hand side of the program it as Mr.Pak, right click and select Extract all to... select a location. When the files are extracted to the directory, use MFAudio to play around with each individual file, and better results are seen.

It's a crude method but you could hook up the Playstation to your computer and stream the audio and capture it using audacity or some other program.

Gotta agree with matinzen,
I use Total recorder. Just pause the ps2, goto audio and You have a nice clean stream. Dont worry about starting at the beginning, You can sort that with a wave editor or an mp3 splitter later.
