if there is anyone out there that can take the time to explain too me how to use the dvd shrink & decrypter with the dvd-r i would greatly appreciate it.i 've used it with the dvd+r but when i use the -r it says
medium not ready or something to that effect.please help me

To the best of my knowledge (which who knows how good that is) burning programs don't discriminate between formats. The difference between formats are adressed at the burner level. More than likely your burner just doesn't support both formats. Mine only supports -r as well. You should check your system specs to see what your burner supports. Another way to figure it out is to have someone else burn any data to a +r disc, and then see if you can read that data on your burner.
