can u play backup of ur games without modchip and another one is if i have a ps2 from u.s and if i dload games from the net which says USA DVD will it work ?? please help

no u need some kind of a mod to play backups + if u have a modchip or smd's u will able to be play thaty d/l ed game!

smds are swap magic discs which are no mod chip boot discs
