Using IFOEdit v0.95 and imgtools v0.89 I can successfully create a whole-movie DVD image playable in PowerDVD with Daemon Tools.

Splitting the DVD, I can successfully create 2 splits each successfully playable using IFOEdit's DVDPlay option. I cannot get the resultant imgtools-created images of the splits to play in PowerDVD with Daemon Tools.

Any ideas what might be going wrong?

Let me tell you how I do it with perfect success. I use DVD Dycrytper or smartripper to rip the chapters I want to a file I call "Disc 1 and then in a file "original". Do the same thing for Disc 2. Now looking at the files remove any file that isn't a vob. Rename the files that remain VTS_01_01 VTS_01_2 and so on. Use IFOEDIT Select "Create IFOs" to the same file. Close IFOEDIT. Reopen IFOEDIT. Open that file for the first disc. You will see to files. The top file is your VTS_01 IFO file. Select the second file which is the vob file. Find the button that says VOB Extras. You need a destination file make that an upper case VIDEO_TS. That is where you are going to "Strip" it to. The next screen you will see the different audio's and subtitles. Select what you want to keep. Usually just the audio that they have already selected. Select strip and let it go. When it is done close IFOEDIT and reopen. Select "OPEN" you now need to find the "VIDEO_TS" file you made open that you see two files again first one is the ifo and the second one is the vob. Select the ifo file. Now find the button that says "get VTS sectors" Now a bunch of boxes appear just press ok all the way through about five or six boxes. Your done. You need another file called "AUDIO_TS" along with your now complete "VIDEO_TS" using a DVD burning program that needs to be "data" burn those two files, and your done. One requirement that I haven't seen in a couple programs you need to be able to select "VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS Recognition as per DVD specification" Repeat these steps for disc 2 you can e-mail me at http://mixmasterscottyb@hotmail.com or consult http://DOOM9.net for more descriptive guides on how to do some of this

hey i used that guide on doom9.net, great guide to splitting dvd9 to 2 dvd5 disc. I get menus on both disc and special features. Just one problem, disc number 2 won't play in my PS2. I can get the disc to work in my standalone but i don't have functionality in the menus on disc 2. Now it can't be the media cause disc 1 works, and i followed the guide to the letter, anyone have any idea to fix this??
