Can anyone help.

At the moment, I am encoding on a Mediapress Pro card, on a Mac G4, straight to MPEG2 file format. I am then wanting to use this file to create DVD's using DVD Studio Pro.

when the DVD is produced, it looks great on standalone players, but awful on pc players. Interlacing lines, and general bad quality. Is this normal?

If so, is there a way round it? so that it will look good for standalone TV and pc playback?
